New Technological Art Award

NTAa’25 combines an international art competition with a curated exhibition of digital works.
Celebrating 100 years of digital art, a professional jury selected 26 artists from hundreds of
submissions to compete for the prestigious Jury Prize and Public Prize, each worth €7,500.
Alongside the competition, curator Thierry Dufrêne assembled 22 additional works that trace the evolution of digital art across the last century. Together, these 48 pieces from around the world form a single, powerful experience: NTAa’25.
Over the course of three months, we were proud to welcome more than 4,000 visitors to Zebrastraat, where they explored the cutting edge of digital creation.
A total of 1,078 people cast their vote, naming ‘Missing People’ by Stéphanie Roland as the public’s favorite, a moving work that clearly struck a chord with many. The Jury Prize was awarded to Verena Bachl and Karsten Schühl for ‘What is for Sure’, a thoughtful and resonant piece that stood out for its relevance and precision.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who made this edition possible: the artists, the jury, and all visitors who engaged with curiosity and enthusiasm.
Special thanks go to Thierry Dufrêne and Jean-Marie Dallet for their vision and dedication in shaping this remarkable edition of the New Technological Art Awards.
